Muttai Kuzhambu [Egg Curry]

Ingredients:
  • Egg - 3
  • Onion - 1
  • Red chili powder - 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Jeera powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp
  • Water - 1/2 cup
  • Coconut milk - 1/2 cup
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
Directions:
  1. Boil 2 eggs in water for 15-20 minutes and keep aside. Chop onion finely. 
  2. Heat oil in a kadai. Add the onion. Stir-fry until it starts turning golden brown. Add turmeric powder, jeera powder, red chili powder and salt. Add water and mix well. 
  3. Once the mixture starts boiling, add an egg. After 1-2 minutes, stir. Chunks of eggs will be seen. Once the egg is cooked, add the coconut milk and keep on the stove until the oil separates.

Muttai Kuzhambu is ready!
Serving Suggestions:

  • Tastes best with rice.
  • If coconut milk isn't available, normal milk can be used.
