Kadai Paneer

Ingredients:
  • Paneer - 100 g
  • Medium size onion - 1
  • Small capsicum - 1
  • Tomato - 1
  • Garlic - 3-4
  • Ginger - small piece
  • Green chili - 2
  • Coriander seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Saunf - 1/2 tsp
  • Clove - 2
  • Anise - 1
  • Cinnamon stick - small piece
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Red chili powder - 2 tsp
  • Jeera powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder- 1/4 tsp
  • Kasoori methi leaves - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Water - 1/2 cup
Directions:
  1. Chop the onion, capsicum, tomato and paneer into large cubes. Chop the ginger and garlic finely. Cut the green chili vertically. Crush the coriander seeds. Put the paneer in hot water for 20 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai. Add the coriander seeds. Add the green chili, garlic, and ginger.  Add the onion. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes. 
  3. Add the tomato and the ginger-garlic paste. Add the red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, kasoori methi, and salt. Mix well. Add the capsicum. 
  4. Add the paneer and mix thoroughly. Add the water and wait until the water boils out and all the vegetables are cooked. Garnish with coriander leaves. Kadai paneer is ready!

Add the red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, kasoori methi, and salt. Mix well. Add the capsicum. Add the paneer and mix thoroughly. Add the water and wait until the water boils out and all the vegetables are cooked. Garnish with coriander leaves.

Kadai Paneer is ready!
